Effective date: December 3, 2026

These Terms apply from App version 1.1.0. While you use version 1.0.x, the previous terms apply to you. The first time you open version 1.1.0, we will ask you to agree to these Terms again.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, duties, and responsibilities of Timeroute (the "Company") and its users, and other necessary matters, when using the timetable app "Timeroute" (the "App") and related services (the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  2. "Account" means the personal space, created with Sign in with Apple, where a user's activity in the Service is kept.
  3. "Class room" (수업방) means a space where students of the same school and grade who take the same class gather.
  4. "Board" means the space inside a class room where users write posts and comments to share information such as tests, performance assessments, and what to bring.
  5. "Content" means the posts, comments, and replies that a user puts on a board.
  6. "Chalk" means points that build up from activity in the Service.
  7. "NEIS" means the timetable, academic calendar, and meal information published by the NEIS (National Education Information System) open portal.

Article 3 (Effect and Effective Date)

  1. These Terms take effect on December 3, 2026 and apply from App version 1.1.0.
  2. While you use version 1.0.x, the previous terms and privacy policy apply to you.
  3. The first time you open App version 1.1.0, you must agree again to these Terms and the Privacy Policy to use the Service.
  4. Matters not covered by these Terms follow the relevant laws and the Privacy Policy.

Article 4 (What the Service Offers)

The Company provides the following.

  1. Timetable auto-complete and photo input: a timetable photo is read into text on your device. The photo and the text read from it are not sent to the Company's server.
  2. To-dos, calendar, and academic calendar
  3. School meals
  4. Widgets
  5. Timetable sharing with friends: depending on your sharing settings, friends can see your timetable and the to-dos you share.
  6. Class-room information boards and comments
  7. Some paid subscription features: provided through Apple in-app purchase. See Article 7.

Some features may not be open yet, or may be temporarily closed, depending on the school or the time.

Article 5 (Sign-up and Accounts)

  1. You sign up and use the Service with Sign in with Apple.
  2. Only people aged 14 or older may use the Service. When you sign up, you must confirm yourself that you are 14 or older. If a user is confirmed to be under 14, the Company deletes the account and the information.
  3. You may not sell, lend, or transfer your account to anyone else. You are responsible for managing your account.
  4. You must choose your school, grade, and class truthfully. Because these are values you choose yourself, the Company does not check whether you actually attend that school. You must not falsely choose another school or grade.
  5. You can change your school, grade, and class once every 30 days.

Article 6 (Leaving the Service)

  1. You can leave at any time: tap the person icon at the top right of the App, go to My Info (내 정보), and tap Delete Account (계정 삭제) at the bottom.
  2. When you leave, your account, timetable, to-dos, events, content, chalk, and other information are deleted under the Privacy Policy and cannot be restored.
  3. Leaving does not cancel a paid subscription automatically. You must cancel the subscription separately in your Apple settings.

Article 7 (Subscriptions and Payment)

  1. Paid subscriptions are made only through Apple in-app purchase. The Company does not receive your payment card details.
  2. Cancelling a subscription, refunds, and cancelling a payment follow Apple's policies and your iPhone settings (your name > Subscriptions).
  3. The price, period, and content of subscription features are shown on the purchase screen.

Article 8 (Chalk)

  1. Chalk is a point used only inside the Service. It has no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or cashed out.
  2. Chalk disappears when you leave the Service.
  3. The Company may take back chalk that was obtained by improper means, or chalk earned from content that is confirmed to violate these Terms through a report.

Article 9 (Rules for Content)

The boards are a place where students in the same class trust each other. The following content may not be posted. If it is, we delete it or restrict use without exception.

  1. Insults, put-downs, or hate speech
  2. Harassment, bullying, or threats
  3. Posting another person's personal information, such as real name, contact details, or photos, without permission
  4. Defamation of teachers or students (posts meant to harm someone's reputation, whether true or false)
  5. Obscene or sexually explicit content
  6. Ads, promotion, or spam
  7. False information
  8. Posting copyrighted works such as exam papers, worksheets, or textbooks without permission, and leaking test questions in a way that could harm the fairness of assessment
  9. Anything else that breaks the law

Content appears "anonymously" to students in the same class room, but our server stores it linked to the author's account, and operators can see the author when needed to handle a report. Being anonymous does not remove your responsibility.

Article 10 (Rights in Content)

  1. The copyright in content belongs to the person who wrote it (the author).
  2. The Company uses content only to the extent needed to show, store, and deliver it inside the Service. We do not use it for other purposes.
  3. When the author deletes content or leaves the Service, the content is deleted too. However, the Company cannot delete what other users have already captured or shared.
  4. The author is responsible for making sure content does not infringe anyone else's rights (such as copyright, privacy, or reputation).

Article 11 (Reports and Actions)

  1. Users can report any post or comment and can block its author. When you block someone, you no longer see their posts.
  2. The Company checks reports within 24 hours and deletes content that breaks the rules.
  3. When a post or comment receives 3 reports, it is hidden automatically until the Company checks it. If the check finds no violation, it is shown again.
  4. Depending on how serious the violation is, the Company may take the following actions.
    • Deleting the content
    • Suspending use for a period (7 days or 30 days)
    • Permanent suspension
  5. While you are suspended, you cannot write posts or comments.
  6. People who do not use the App, and friends or acquaintances, can also report harm by emailing timeroute8@gmail.com.
  7. If you disagree with an action, tell us at the contact email. The Company reviews the matter again and replies.

Article 12 (Rights-Infringement Reports and Temporary Measures)

  1. A person whose rights are infringed by content, such as through defamation or invasion of privacy, can ask for deletion or a temporary measure by emailing timeroute8@gmail.com with supporting grounds. Please include which post or comment it is, why and on what grounds you believe your rights are infringed, and your contact details.
  2. On receiving a request, the Company without delay either deletes the content or temporarily hides it for up to 30 days.
  3. The Company informs the person who made the request and the author of the content. The author is informed by a notice in the App or an announcement.
  4. During a temporary measure, the Company reviews the matter and decides whether to delete the content or show it again.
  5. A copyright holder can demand that content be taken down by emailing us with material showing they hold the rights and identifying the content. The Company hides the content immediately and informs both the person who made the demand and the author. If the author has a legitimate right, they can ask within 30 days of being informed to have the content restored, stating their grounds.

Article 13 (Prohibited Use)

You must not do any of the following.

  1. Use programs to collect information from the Service automatically
  2. Hack, bypass the Service's security measures, or disrupt the operation of the Service
  3. Pretend to be another person or an operator
  4. Collect other users' information, or try to find out who wrote an anonymous post
  5. Obtain chalk or Service features by improper means
  6. Break the law or these Terms

Article 14 (Accuracy of Information)

  1. Timetables, meals, and academic calendars are based on public NEIS data and may differ from reality. A school may not have posted yet, or a change may be reflected late.
  2. Results of timetable auto-complete and photo input can also be wrong, so you must check and correct them yourself.
  3. Content is information posted by other students. The Company does not guarantee that content is accurate. For test scope, performance assessments, and what to bring, please follow your teachers' and school's instructions first.

Article 15 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may change features or temporarily close some features to improve the Service.
  2. Changes that matter to users are announced in advance in the App.
  3. The Service may stop for a while because of maintenance, outages, or force majeure. We will restore it as soon as we can.

Article 16 (Intellectual Property)

  1. The rights in the App and the Service, such as the design, logo, and software, belong to the Company. Content follows Article 10.
  2. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use the App and the Service commercially without the Company's permission.
  3. The original timetable, academic calendar, and meal data are public NEIS information, and the rights belong to the relevant organization.

Article 17 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company is not responsible when it cannot provide the Service because of force majeure, such as natural disasters, communication failures, or outages of outside services like Apple and Supabase.
  2. Problems caused by a user not keeping credentials safe or by breaking these Terms are the user's responsibility.
  3. The Company has no duty to step into disputes between users, or between a user and a third party, caused by content. It will, however, take action under Articles 11 and 12.
  4. The Company is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information under Article 14. This does not apply where the Company acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
  5. Nothing above removes the Company's responsibility for its intentional acts or gross negligence.

Article 18 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to these Terms and to use of the Service.
  2. If a dispute about the Service arises, please first tell us at timeroute8@gmail.com. The Company will discuss it in good faith.
  3. Legal rights that users have by law, such as the right to cancel paid purchases made by minors, follow the relevant laws. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

Article 19 (Changes to These Terms)

  1. The Company may change these Terms when needed, within what the law allows.
  2. Changes are announced in the App and take effect 7 days after the announcement.
  3. Changes that are unfavorable to users or otherwise important are announced 30 days in advance, and we ask users to agree again in the App.
  4. If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you cannot use the Service, and you can leave at any time.
